Riihi - your tool for innovation development

We offer companies and individuals the opportunity to develop their business ideas for sport, health and well-being with new tools and different eyes in the Riihi pilot. Riihi is a new path from business idea development to financing and commercialisation using the Orchidea platform. The process of designing and crystallising an AI-assisted project on the Orchidea platform is as follows:

 

1. sign up using the form on this page and we will send you a login link to the Orchidea platform

2. click on the link in the email to log in and register your idea.

3. develop your idea on the platform within the sprint schedule using AI.

4. receive precious feedback from our panel and tips on how to take your business idea further

5. For the best ideas, we'll suggest a way forward

 

 

We will open two sprints from 1 May to 31 May 2026 and 1 September to 30 September 2026, during which the Orchidea platform will be open.

WHY APPLY?

You know that feeling when you've been spinning your idea for so long in your own head or in a small group that you can't see the wood for the trees anymore?

You'd like some external stimulation and opinion, but you don't know who to contact.

You need reassurance that you've covered all the essentials of your idea for a great pitch.

The Riihi development process will work with you to crystallise and clarify your business idea. You can discover new perspectives on sales, improve the financial viability of your idea or find new insights into the market.

FOR WHOM AND WHAT IS REQUIRED?

Businesses in the sport, health and well-being (SHW) sector and owners of business ideas in this sector. For those interested in piloting an AI-assisted innovation tool.

Are you an entrepreneur looking for development support, external evaluation or possibly a direct place in a pitching competition?

Do you have an SHW business idea that you would like to develop, but would like support to work through the business aspects?

As this is a pilot project, we offer the service completely free of charge. All you need is a business idea and an interest in spending your time developing it with the Riihi concept.

This is a low risk - high reward opportunity.

HOW DOES THE RIIHI PROCESS WORK?

We will open two sprints on 1-31 May 2026 and 1-30 September 2026 during which the Orchidea platform will be open.

Register using the form below and we will send you a link to the Orchid platform.

The Orchid Platform questions and instructions will guide you to get started in describing your business idea and its components. Orchidea will help and challenge you to put all your ideas together to describe your business idea and then support you in developing it further. The aim is to develop your business idea into a concept with a business model and pitch material.

Once the idea development process has been completed on the platform, the expert jury will provide written feedback on the idea within two weeks after the end of the sprint.

The best ideas will have the opportunity to be considered for various follow-up paths, such as pitching at our partners' funding events.

WHY IS RIIHI IMPLEMENTED?

The Riihi process is part of the Capability to Grow Sustainably project, co-funded by the European Union. The project will run from 1.9.2023 to 30.11.2026.

The project will strengthen the region's innovation capacity as a pioneer in technological development, a resource-wise and responsible growth centre and a multidisciplinary and diversified developer of well-being at national and international level.
